Moving Into Pisces Season

What happens when the great depths of our love, the boundless ocean of compassion and understanding meets the rocky shores of a sobering reality? Perhaps we are met with the other side of love, its equal partner, grief.

It is a great sorrow to know with your whole heart how interconnected we are and how grossly that is denied by those who cling to power. It is a great sorrow to know that love is possible yet great violence on one another and Earth is institutionalized.

Pisces is a place of deep compassion and forgiveness, of love for all beings, of hope, empathy and the understanding that everything comes together as one in the end, and always. These are among the many reasons why love is held in such high regard here– why Venus is exalted in Pisces.

We feel truly loved when we feel wholly accepted as we are, and when we reach a place of mutual understanding, we are connected.

With Venus meeting Neptune here in Pisces this week, love of all for the love of all becomes the ideal. When we look around us and see that this ideal is not being met in our greater community, that love becomes a grief that is so hard to carry that many of us dissociate.

With Saturn and Sol meeting in Aquarius, a sobering light shines on our societal structures, and how out of step they are alongside the high ideals of Venus-Neptune in Pisces.

This weekend Sol will move into Pisces and soon after Luna joins and will give us a chance to feel into and set intentions for Saturn’s upcoming three year journey through the sign.

How can we build structures around compassion?

How can we create containers for love? For grief?

What work are you willing to put in to create the beautiful, forgiving world you dream of?
